Gabon III
Locations: N'Dende-Mbikou-Zanangoue-Doumandzou
School Construction Our project along with Gabon I built schools and teachers houses in some 25-27 locations in rural Gabon.
Our years of service were such that we were incountry during the short lived coup de etat and several member of our groups also had the opportunity to work for a short period of time with Dr Albert Schweitzer at his hospital outside Lambrene.
Although our primary mission was the construction of schools and housing for teachers in remote and rural areas, volunteers engaged in a variety of other community development related projects during our term of service.
