"The map at the top of the page is the map of the Old City (Eski Shahar) of Tashkent, Uzbekistan. It shows the old city in relation to my institute where I taught English and Arabic. The bottom half of the map is a map of the Hamza area of Tashkent. Showing where I lived...those little things that look like lollipops are trees, that was a big park. Um the M signs are metro entrances. Those signs that look like minarets and madrassahs are minarets and madrassas. There is a little sign with a crescent moon that is a mosque up by my institute. NBU in a circle was the National Bank of Uzbekistan....
