Info about the United Women for Development Conference

Peace Corps Volunteers working with DINADECO (Direccion Nacional de Desarrollo de Comunidades) are proposing to hold a conference. The conference MUNDO: Mujers Unidas Para el Desarrollo (United Women for Development) proposes to bring 62 women from 31 rural communities together for a weekend long seminar. The attendees will learn about empowerment, women¿s rights, self esteem, small business enterprise and project proposals. Partnership assistance is requested to cover the cost of transportation, some lodging, and meals for conference participants, presenters and Peace Corps Volunteers
