Info about the Ukraine Seminar Resources

The objective of this project is to modernize the materials used for giving seminars and lessons at a school attended by more than 450 students. Being the only school that specializes in English throughout its district of 43 schools, it has extra requirements and expectations, including hosting several English seminars each year. The local schools and surrounding village schools are invited to these seminars to learn new methodological techniques for teaching English.

The school currently lacks adequate presentation materials and is asking for financial support in purchasing a projector and supporting multimedia equipment, including a projector screen. These new materials would be shared between all of the local schools for giving presentations, but would primarily be used for daily English lessons and seminars. The school’s community will contribute the computer, flash drive, and speakers needed to use the projector. English teachers and administration will also be donating their time to learn the technical skills involved in making a presentation using a projector. They will be responsible for passing this knowledge on to others who are interested in using the multimedia equipment.
