Stith, Sandi and Gary
Sandi and Gary servied in Barquisimeto, Venezuela from 1973-1975. Gary worked as a city planner through the Municipal Management Program. He developed a plan for installing sewers and water in barrios around the city which was later implemented. Sandi served as a teacher in a program for malnourished children. Our son, Nathan, was born while we were in the Peace Corps. Gary is community development director in Silver Spring, MD and Sandi is a professor at Kansas State University. Nathan is an actor in New York. We look back at our Peace Corps Experience as a life changing experience.
