Info about the Sambir Aquapark Renovation

The Sambir Aquapark renovation is a community lead project that will benefit the entire community. This project will provide youth and families of the Sambir community with a recreation area to use during their free time. The Aquapark will be cleaned and renovated and additional sports fields/courts will be built. Currently there is only a lake, a walking path, old stairs and an abandoned mini-soccer field. The proposed renovation will include cleaning the path and areas around the lake, repairing the stairs which lead to the path, fix the mini-soccer field and the addition of a full-size soccer field, basketball court, tennis court and sand volleyball court. Training will be provided for the city's Sports and Youth Department on organizing sports leagues, arranging tournaments and other youth activities. They will also learn proper techniques for teaching sports to children. Partnership funds are needed to pay for materials. The city will sponsor and run the proposed youth sports leagues and other programs.
