- Calling all NorCalPCA mentors, mentees, and interested others for a special event designed to expand, exchange and extend support and resources for RPCVs. Current Peace Corps nominees are also welcome. This event will be a great opportunity for RPCVS who may be interested in mentorship, or in providing one-time or short-term resource information to readjusting RPCVs! We will be discussing Power Line written by Jason Carter who is Jimmy Carter's grandson. Jason served as a volunteer in South Africa. - Over the past decade, the non-profit Enagnon Dandan (It Must Work!) has been working with Peace Corps Volunteers to improve health, education, and commerce in rural Beninese communities. They've built a health center and classrooms, planted protein-rich moringa trees, and bridged relationships between ethnic groups.
