	The principal and long-term goal of the proposed project is to establish and maintain international connections between the pupils of Mykolayiv and the rest of the world, thus creating a more developed and holistic international and intercultural understanding. The project's primary activity will be to establish a resource center for language, cross-cultural and international study. The center will be located in Mykolayiv Gymnasium #4, and will be opened to the entire Mykolayiv secondary school community. Opening the center to other schools allows the project to reach more people and promotes the exchange of information and resources within a larger community. Resources will be for teachers and students of foreign languages. The center will contribute to the development and discussion of language teaching methodologies for German, English and French. It will also provide a foundation and location for an international club targeted towards pupils that will allow international and intercultural discussion. The center will also invite guests from other countries and from minority cultures to speak about their backgrounds. Partnership funds are needed to technical equipment, furniture and resources.
