Info about the My Life My Rights Woman Workshops
In the last four years Peace Corps Volunteers working with PANI (Costa Rica Child Services) to conduct VIDA Valuing Individual and Developing Self-esteem workshops for at-risk young woman. This year¿s theme is ¿My Life, My Rights.¿ This conference will benefit 80 girls between the ages of 13-16 years old. The conference will include the following workshops: Domestic Violence Prevention, Sexuality, Decision Making and Communication, Exploring Our Dreams, and How to Plan My Life. Peace Corps Volunteers, Costa Rican professionals, and participates from previous conferences will conduct the training. Partnership assistance is requested to cover the cost of lodging and meals for all participants. PANI is covering transportation costs and lodging and meals for the presenters.
