I was an education volunteer in Eritrea, East Africa (1997-1998). I worked as a teacher at the Haddas Eritrea Primary and Middle School in the village of Hadida, Eritrea. Projects I contributed to during my tenure were the construction of the community library, grant writing and securing books/textbooks for the school/library, evening adult education English courses, weekend and evening teacher training courses.
