Entered Peace Corps right out of college. Learned a lot about challenges of developing world. After leaving, spent one year at the Sorbonne, then entered Columbia University where I studied International Politics and the Middle East (received an MIA and passed doctoral exams). Met my husband there (Rob Greene). I taught college in Virginia and North Carolina. We moved to Portland, Oregon in 1992; not much opportunity to teach. Began attending the Episcopal Church in 1997. Became ordained a deacon in 2004. Focus on social justice issues - especially as they relate to those in developing countries. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley.
