Larry Ward (born 30 March 1954) is a fisheries biologist, specializing in freshwater species. He served in the Peace Corps in Togo, West Africa as a fisheries extension agent for the Togolese Ministry of Animal Production under the supervision of the ngo CONGAT. He graduated from Oregon State University (1982) and Auburn University (1985).

He has worked for the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe on the North Olympic Peninsula of Washington State since 1988 where he operates a salmon hatchery, investigates the life history of the Pacific lamprey and of various species of freshwater mussels. He is actively pursuing the removal of the Elwha and Glines Canyon dams on the Elwha River for which he helped author a fisheries restoration plan.

He is married (to Amy Sarver Ward)and has two children (Molly and Eli).
