Info about the Language Resource Room - Bulgaria

Maksim Raikovich School along with the community of Drianovo, Bulgaria are working to develop a language resource room at the school. The purpose of the language room will be to provide a clean, quiet place where student and teacher can learn and teach at an intense level not possible in regular classroom settings. The resource room will be equipped with new desks and chairs for all students, as well as audio and media equipment to maximize their speaking, listening and writing skills. A new white board, English books, literature, dictionaries, and a new computer with language programs will be purchased for the center. A new TV and VCR will enable students to watch instructional videos that will enhance their language skills. Partnership funds are needed to purchase language materials and technical equipment. The community has donated space and supplies for the resource room.
