Info about the Kitchen Remodeling Project

The School of Tourism in Chepelare, Bulgaria is the only school of its kind in the country. Students come to the school to be trained in cooking and serving with the hope of entering a hospitality-related profession following graduation. With the nearby ski resort of Pamporovo only 20 minutes away, their prospects are good, but facilities at the school are outdated and inadequate to provide the training needed to excel in today's competitive tourist industry. The existing kitchen/serving area is in need of remodeling and modernization. The main goal of the proposed project is to remodel the kitchen/serving area in the school. The school has prepared a three year plan for this remodeling project. The proposed project focuses on the beginning stages of remodeling the existing kitchen and constructing another kitchen. One stage of the project is being funded by the Norwegian Embassy. These funds will cover the cost of new equipment for the kitchens.
