While serving in Cuatro Equinas de Los Chiles, Costa Rica I worked to develop a women's group that started their own agricultural cooperative. Aside from my work with the women in Cuatro Esquinas I also worked in organizational development with the town council, performed a series of pediatric health workshops, and started a youth baseball team. I also worked with the PTA in Punta Cortes to build an additional schoolhouse and re-roof the existing school, and with their town council to attempt to bring electricity to the town.
