Info about the Expansion of Elementary School

In a barrio in the Municipality of Intibucá, exists a school that lacks a proper classroom for about 50 students of the total 330. These 50 students have class in a wooden shack with a dilapidated tin roof. During the wet season these students are greatly disturbed by the wind and rain and have to change classrooms or worse, cancel class. They are in desperate need of a new aula (classroom). The community is very strong-minded and has developed the design for the new classroom, implementation plan and funded just over half of the project cost. The community needs monetary support to have a completed classroom, more equipped teachers, and happy, dry students.
