Camp BALL (Beat AIDS, Love Life)

Purpose and Approach

To prevent the spread and mitigate the impact of HIV in the education sector.

Objective

• To promote an understanding (among participants) of how to prevent HIV and AIDS, and other Sexually Transmitted Infections through the ‘A’ and ‘B’ methods;
• To promote an understanding of youth responsibility and accountability in the family and community, at large;
• To promote an understanding of negotiation and decision-making skills;
• To promote a gradual understanding of gender equality between the opposite genders.
