Info about the Babadé Community Library and Children's Study and Recreation Area

The community of Babadè wishes to renovate an abandoned building within the village so that it may serve as a combined library and children's recreation center. The building will provide a place for students to study, an informal training site for subjects such as HIV/AIDS, and provide access to information resources that would otherwise be unavailable to the community.

Partnership funds will be used to purchase the necessary equipment to accomplish this renovation. The community will be contributing land, labor, and building costs, as well as local supplies. There will also be a world map painted on the exterior walls of the building when it is completed.
